Office Administrator

Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Moving to: Birmingham City Centre in September 2026
Job Type: Full-time, office-based
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum

About Emerald Solar

Emerald Solar is looking for a highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our growing team.

This is a key role within the business, supporting the day-to-day running of the office and ensuring that administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently. You’ll need to be organised, confident communicating with people and comfortable managing multiple tasks at the same time.

The Role

As an Office Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Managing incoming and outgoing communications, including telephone calls and emails.
Maintaining accurate records and completing data entry with excellent attention to detail.
Organising files, documents and information so they are easy to access.
Keeping our CRM system organised and up to date.
Supporting colleagues with general administrative tasks and requests.
Helping to improve and streamline administrative processes.
Managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Working closely with different teams across the business.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in an administrative role – previous administration experience is essential.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident using computers and different systems.
Experienced in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
A confident and professional communicator, both written and verbally.
Comfortable handling telephone calls and emails.
Able to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload.
Proactive, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team.

£25,000 – £28,000 salary, depending on experience.
