Grade/Salary: Grade C, SCP 3-5, £24,796 to £25,583 per annum, £12,969 to £13,381 pro rata (Pay Award pending)
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Terms: 22.5 hours, Part Time, Term Time (Mon-Weds, 8am to 4pm with 30 mins break)

We are seeking a friendly, organised and professional administration assistant who will play an important role in supporting our children, families and staff as part of our dedicated school team.

This role serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome. You will be responsible for managing the front-of-house area and supporting administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and sign in visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Input attendance registers accurately and efficiently.
Use internal systems such as SIMS and other software to manage records and payments.
Communicate with parents and carers, including handling challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Manage your time and workload independently, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Support general administrative duties as required.

Skills and Qualities Required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with sensitive situations professionally.
Good organisational skills and time management.
Experience using school-based systems is desirable.
A positive, proactive, and welcoming attitude.
