Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Bar Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this pivotal role, you will support the overall operation of the bar, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality food and beverage offerings, and a lively atmosphere. Your leadership will help motivate and guide staff, uphold food safety standards, and deliver memorable experiences to our guests. Duties

Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management
Supervise bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery and teamwork
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and food production standards across all bar activities
Support food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks, light cooking, or snack assembly to enhance guest experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to health and safety protocols
Train new team members on bartending techniques, customer service, and safety procedures

Skills

Proven experience in bartending with strong knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment
Supervising or team management experience within restaurant or hospitality settings
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Solid understanding of food safety standards and food production processes
Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, or culinary tasks preferred
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach
Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus; barista experience is advantageous for beverage expertise
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
