Full job description

Located just 5 minutes from Horwich Parkway training station with 125 bedrooms and fully integrated into the Toughsheet Community Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, Bolton Stadium Hotel, is a state of the art conference and exhibition centre with a difference, offering flexibility to hold meetings, events and exhibitions from 2 to 3000.

We now have an exciting opportunity for friendly and enthusiastic individual with a passion for hospitality to join our friendly and customer focused team in supporting us to deliver seamless service experiences within our Hotel in the role of Commis Chef, working 32 hours per week.

Duties of the role will include:

Maintain excellent standards of food from preparation through to presentation.
Maintain portion control in order to control food costs and to monitor all food wastage.
To have full knowledge of the current menus.
To ensure high standards of quality control, handling and storage of commodities to current legislation, governing handling, storage and processing.
Ensure that excellent cleanliness is maintained in your section of the kitchen as per cleaning schedules and current legislative requirements.
Comply with all company health and safety, fire and COSHH regulations.

The ideal candidate:

Will maintain high standards of appearance, good personal hygiene and wear correct and clean chefs uniform .
Punctual, in the kitchen ready to work at the start of shift.
Well organised with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
Will be passionate about food.
Have an eye for detail.
Able to work well under pressure.

Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £21,230.78 per year
