Full job description

Job description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen Childcare Practitioners to join a new and forward-thinking-company, who values its workforce with competitive and negotiable pay rates. Offering Health insurance, continued personal development and bonus schemes too!!

Magnolia Care Group is a new and growing Therapeutic Children’s Residential Service offering a solo placement for a child aged between 6- 17 years.

Job title: Children's Residential Carer

Location: Bradford West Yorkshire

Salary: From £26,437- up to £34,000 (Effective from 1st April 2026)

Sleep ins: £65 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month, an additional £3,000 -£6,000 P/A)

Shift pattern: Various shift patterns 1 on, 2 off or 2 on 4 off, waking nights.

Hours available: Full time (39 hours)

Shift Start Time: 10:00am until 11pm inclusive of a sleep in.

What do you need?

Ideally some previous experience of working with young people and children. Genuinely enjoy working with young people and are committed to expressing genuine care towards them. Be committed to providing a homely and nurturing environment. Understand the importance of basic childcare, routine and nurture to help with the recovery of the young people’s emotional and physical wellbeing. Have a sense of humour with professional boundaries and enjoy young people’s company. Be self-reflective. Ability to relate to our young people and share interests and encourage hobbies. Be committed to engage within a learning environment. Are over the age of 21 with a full UK driving licence.
