Full job description

Recruit 4 Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 2-week holiday cover role on an education refurbishment project in Birkenhead, starting Thursday 9th July.

This is an opportunity to join a respected contractor on a live refurbishment project, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing the daily running of the site
Managing subcontractors and coordinating trades
Ensuring Health & Safety compliance and adherence to RAMS
Delivering site inductions and toolbox talks where required
Monitoring programme, quality and site standards
Liaising with the Contracts Manager and reporting on progress
Maintaining a safe, organised and productive working environment

Essential Requirements

SMSTS
First Aid at Work
Valid CSCS Card
Previous experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects
Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
Ability to take control of a live site from day one
