Company Overview

Green’s Carriage Masters is an independent family-run business based in South East London, specializing in funeral transportation and comprehensive funeral service solutions. We pride ourselves on our extensive vehicle fleet and commitment to providing exceptional service to the funeral trade nationwide.

Summary

We are looking for a personable, bright and ambitious individual to join our small office team. In this role, you will support daily operations, coordinate administrative tasks, and ensure smooth communication within our organization. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a confident telephone manner.

This role is Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. There is no opportunity to work from home.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate office activities to ensure efficient operations
Handle email correspondence, phone calls, and client inquiries with professionalism
Maintain accurate records through data entry on our bespoke computer system
Tracking upcoming funerals and their necessary requirements
Liaising with our trade partners about specific funerals
Taking receipt of courier deliveries, and itemising their contents
General office duties including filing, stationery orders and photocopying

Qualifications

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - B Grade or Grade 6 equivalent in English Language at GCSE
Experience in the funeral trade is not required - you will receive on-the-job training
Computer literate

Requirements

Strong computer skills
Proficient on Microsoft Outlook
Proactive, organised approach to working
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Team player
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £15.00 per hour
