Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions within our organisation. The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing office tasks efficiently. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior office experience to contribute to a professional environment while developing their administrative skills further.

Duties

Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Organise and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical, ensuring easy retrieval of information
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office
Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documentation in a timely manner
Support bookkeeping activities by managing invoices, receipts, and expenses
Handle general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and ordering office supplies
Collaborate with team members to streamline office procedures and improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent typing speed and data entry skills with high accuracy levels
Previous clerical or administrative experience is highly desirable
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
