Job Title: Sales Office Manager

Location: Bromsgrove

Salary: Depending on Experience

Hours: Monday – Friday

Working Pattern: Office-based (No working from home or Hybrid option available)

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Office Manager for a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Bromsgrove.

This is a fantastic Sales Office Manager opportunity for an experienced Internal Sales, Technical Sales or Sales Office professional who is looking to take responsibility for both customers and a small internal sales function. The role would suit someone with a combination of engineering knowledge, internal sales experience and people management skills.

The successful candidate will become a key point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and supporting the wider sales team.

The Role of Sales Office Manager:

· Acting as the main point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.

· Preparing quotations and processing customer orders.

· Handling technical customer enquiries relating to engineering products.

· Providing a high level of customer service and technical support.

· Overseeing and supporting junior members of the internal sales team.

· Working closely with external sales colleagues and other departments.

· Managing multiple enquiries and priorities within a busy office environment.

· Taking responsibility for office supplies, stationery, petty cash and general administration.

· Ensuring customer enquiries and orders are dealt with accurately and within agreed timescales.

· Helping develop and maintain an efficient and professional sales office function.

Skills & Experience Required:

· Experience within internal sales, technical sales, sales support or customer service.

· Ideally, a background within engineering or manufacturing.

· Strong customer liaison and communication skills.

· Experience supervising, mentoring or managing junior staff.

· Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Strong organisation and attention to detail.

· The ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
