Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. The Server will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions and resolving any issues efficiently.
Upsell menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities.
Clear tables, reset for new guests, and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area.
Follow food safety protocols and ensure proper handling of all food items.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
Manage billing transactions accurately using the POS system.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key.
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Good communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding guest services.
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately.
Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance sales performance.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality to develop their skills within a supportive team environment while delivering exceptional service to our guests.
