Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Turret Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating turret machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the fabrication process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in mechanical work and fabrication to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Set up and operate turret machines to produce sheet metal parts according to technical specifications.
Amada Machinery
Use hand tools and tooling to adjust and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Conduct routine inspections of finished components for quality assurance, adhering to safety standards.
Assist with fabrication tasks in the warehouse
Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal working processes and associated hand tools.
Familiarity with tooling, assembly techniques, and basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
Good understanding of mechanical principles related to manufacturing equipment.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Previous experience operating turret machines or similar equipment is advantageous

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Experience:

Turret Operator : 1 year (required)
