Sales Administrator

Temp-perm

Location: Dudley
Salary: £27,000

Our client is looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment, providing essential support to a busy sales function.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the sales process, working closely with internal departments and customers to deliver an efficient and professional service. This is a full time position running Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities

Produce and process customer quotations, sales orders, contracts and associated documentation.
Ensure all sales records and paperwork are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
Maintain and update the company's CRM system, ensuring customer information, opportunities and sales activity remain accurate and up to date.
Prepare regular sales reports and performance data to support management decision-making.
Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing prompt and professional assistance.
Assist with onboarding new customers, including account creation and completion of required documentation.
Support customers throughout the sales journey, liaising with internal teams such as Finance and Operations to resolve queries and ensure a seamless experience.
Maintain accurate filing systems for contracts, customer records and correspondence.
Follow internal procedures and company compliance standards at all times.
Provide general administrative support to the wider sales team as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within a Sales Administrator, Sales Support or general office administration position.
A good understanding of sales administration processes, order processing and customer service.
Experience using CRM systems alongside Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience producing reports and working with sales-related data would be advantageous.
A qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline would be beneficial, although not essential.
