Full job description

We are a busy guest house in Clapham seeking a receptionist. The ideal candidate should be pleasant, presentable and comfortable in dealing with customers. You will be a well organised, well-spoken individual and an excellent team player. You must be computer literate (as administrative work will be required), able to work well alone using your own initiative and be safety conscious.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming our customers to the hotel - check them in and make any reservation changes as required/where possible.
Completion of day-to-day administrative tasks on time and accurately
Following our procedures, when dealing with customer bookings, phone calls, email replies, cash reconciliation, and security.
Maintaining a clean and tidy hotel for the customers and the rest of your team.
Working cross-functionally when required.
Supporting your colleagues to achieve high results, across all departments.

Your hours will be 9 am to 5 pm but you may be asked to do a different shift pattern depending on business needs. In order to apply, please forward a CV and brief paragraph about yourself, describing what makes you suitable for the role.
