Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Skip Hire Sales Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales and customer service skills within the waste management and skip hire industry. As a Trainee, you will learn to coordinate skip hire services, engage with clients, and support the sales process from start to finish. This position is perfect for individuals eager to kick-start their career in sales, logistics, or environmental services, with comprehensive training provided to help you succeed.

Duties

Assist in managing customer inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm
Support the sales team by processing orders, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating skip hire services efficiently
Develop a strong understanding of industry terminology such as waste types, skip sizes, and environmental regulations
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, bookings, and payments using dedicated financial software
Contribute to account analysis and reconciliation tasks to ensure smooth revenue cycle management
Engage in telemarketing activities to promote skip hire services and generate new business opportunities
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and collection of skips while adhering to health and safety standards

Experience

No prior experience necessary; training will be provided for all aspects of the role
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
Basic understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, accounts receivable/payable, and account reconciliation is advantageous but not required
Ability to learn medical or technical terminology related to environmental regulations (training provided if applicable)
Demonstrated aptitude for math and problem-solving skills to assist with account analysis and invoice processing
Familiarity with accounting or financial software is a plus but not essential; willingness to learn new systems is important
Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to negotiation and client engagement
