Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional hair and beauty services, creating personalised looks for clients, and fostering a welcoming environment while contributing to the overall success of our salon. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional styling, colour, and ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.

Duties

Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, blow-drying, and styling to meet clients’ individual preferences.
Offer personalised consultations to advise clients on suitable styles, colours, and treatments based on their features and preferences.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and upselling additional services or products.
Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients, addressing their needs professionally, and ensuring a positive experience.
Mentor junior staff or apprentices where applicable, sharing expertise in styling techniques and customer care.
Assist with store management tasks such as inventory control and maintaining product displays.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility across various styles.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Knowledge of store management principles is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Professional certification or licence in hairdressing or barbering recognised by relevant industry bodies is preferred but not mandatory.
