Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager/Administrator to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the office, managing team activities, and supporting various administrative functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong communication and organisational skills to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate office activities, ensuring efficient workflow and organisation
Supervise administrative staff and support team management tasks
Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management
Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense tracking
Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems, both digital and physical
Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes as required
Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained
Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed to facilitate overall organisational efficiency

Requirements

Proven experience in office administration or related roles, with clerical or organisational expertise
Supervising or team management experience is essential
Proficiency in QuickBooks and general accounting practices
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Experience in human resources processes such as recruitment and employee management
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Proficient in using office software including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining attention to detail
