Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office operations, and providing exceptional support to staff and clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office management to contribute to a professional and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating office activities
Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
Managing office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
Supporting bookkeeping activities including invoicing and expense tracking
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy, organised, and welcoming for staff and visitors

Requirements

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and use of Sage software is desirable but not essential
Excellent typing speed with high accuracy for data entry tasks
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional attitude

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
