Late Bar / Night Porter

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Late Bar / Night Porter to join our team at The Grand Burstin Hotel in Folkestone.

This superbly located 481-bedroom hotel overlooks Folkestone's picturesque harbour and is just a short walk from the town centre and Folkestone Central train station. With stunning coastal views, excellent transport links and a busy food and beverage operation, The Grand Burstin Hotel is a popular destination for both leisure and business guests.

The main duties will include:

Serving customers and carrying out general bar work.
Preparing pizzas when required.
Completing ground floor cleaning duties as required.
Setting up function rooms and event spaces overnight.
Moving linen from guest floors to the housekeeping department overnight.
Checking in late-arriving guests and providing overnight guest assistance.
Carrying out general night porter duties to ensure the hotel is secure and ready for the following day.

The ideal candidate will have previous hospitality, bar or customer service experience and be confident working during the evening and overnight. You will be reliable, organised and able to remain calm under pressure. Experience with hotel reservation systems, including Opera Cloud, would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
