Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Holiday Park Maintenance Operative to join our team. This role involves maintaining the park’s outdoor and indoor facilities to ensure a safe, attractive, and enjoyable environment for visitors. The successful candidate will have experience in landscape maintenance, hot tub maintenance , and general maintenance tasks, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to park upkeep. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor work and park management to contribute to a well-loved leisure destination.

Duties

Conduct regular landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and gardening to uphold the park’s aesthetic appeal
Operate various power tools such as hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, and leaf blowers safely and efficiently
Maintain Hot tubs, dropping and refilling, ensuring they clean and ph levels are correct.
Perform general maintenance tasks including repairs to park facilities, furniture, and pathways
Use hand tools
Assist with the installation of new bathrooms and deckings
Conduct safety inspections of equipment and work areas to prevent hazards
Support seasonal projects such as planting schemes or refurbishment works
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any issues requiring further attention

Skills

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is highly desirable
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools.
Strong understanding of general maintenance procedures within a leisure or outdoor environment
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Physical fitness suitable for outdoor manual work in all weather conditions
some knowledge of hot tubs; training will be provided where necessary

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy outdoor work, possess relevant skills in maintenance or horticulture, and are committed to maintaining high standards within a busy holiday park setting.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
