Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and friendly Counter Staff to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a positive experience for every guest. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills, gain restaurant experience, and contribute to a lively, fast-paced environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions with precision.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including food prep stations and display cases.
Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order preparation and delivery times for prompt service.

Skills

Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Understanding of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while multitasking seamlessly.
Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food components and presentation.
Enthusiastic about upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
