Job Title: Nursery Manager
Location: Small Market Town (Independent Nursery Setting)
Salary: 40k
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for a nursery manager for a warm, well-established independent nursery located in the heart of a charming small market town. With strong community roots and a child-centred ethos, we are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead the setting into its next exciting chapter.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated early years professional who thrives in a close-knit environment and is committed to delivering outstanding care and education.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will:

Lead and inspire a dedicated team of early years practitioners
Ensure outstanding standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursery
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
Build strong partnerships with parents and the wider community
Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and staff development
Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality practice

You will be both a hands-on leader and a strategic thinker, committed to excellence in early years provision.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Holds at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
Has proven leadership experience in an early years setting
Has strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Is organised, confident, and approachable
Demonstrates excellent communication and people-management skills
Is passionate about creating enriching environments for children
Values community engagement and partnership working
