Job Summary

Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and positive attitude will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals. In this vital role, you will coordinate appointments, manage client communications, and ensure a smooth flow of daily operations. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment that fosters trust and care for every pet and owner who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to animal health and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and professionally, creating a friendly atmosphere for pet owners and their animals
Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal flow throughout the day
Manage phone inquiries, providing clear information about services and guiding clients appropriately
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information
Assist with laboratory procedures by preparing samples and recording results when needed
Coordinate communication between clients, veterinary staff, and specialists to ensure seamless care delivery
Support administrative tasks such as invoicing, inventory management, and follow-up reminders

Requirements

Prior veterinary experience is highly preferred to understand clinical terminology and procedures
Laboratory experience is a plus to assist with sample handling and record keeping
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and empathetically with pet owners
Proficiency in basic computer applications and veterinary management software
A genuine passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence
