Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of office management practices. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment, ensuring smooth and efficient office functioning. Prior experience with administrative tasks, team supervision, and financial management is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

Manage and coordinate daily office activities to ensure operational efficiency.
Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to optimise team performance.
Oversee human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Maintain organised filing systems both electronically and physically.
Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy.
Develop and implement organisational policies and procedures to improve workflow.
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required.
Manage office supplies inventory and liaise with vendors for procurement needs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone etiquette.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment and employee management.
Previous office or clerical experience is highly desirable.
Ability to lead a team efficiently while fostering a positive work environment.
Strong organisational skills complemented by attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. This position is integral to maintaining an efficient workplace environment through effective leadership and organisation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the organisation’s goals through their expertise in office management practices.

Pay: £37,500.00 per year
