Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to showcase their skills and contribute to an exceptional dining experience. The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining food safety standards and delivering outstanding service to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
Oversee the entire grilling process, including marinating, seasoning, and presentation of food.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and plating ingredients as required.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service during service hours.
Keep up-to-date with new recipes, techniques, and trends within the culinary industry.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Previous kitchen experience specialising in grilling or barbecue cuisine is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
