Job Overview

A great opportunity has arisen for someone to join our JH team!

Specialists in commercial and residential property services, JH Joinery and Construction has gone from strength to strength. Established in 2016, we have transformed a diverse range of commercial and residential projects. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional service.

Due to continued growth, we’re now looking for an experienced on-site Joiner.

The full-time* position will be responsible for tasks such as first fix joinery and second fix joinery on high end residential projects, high end fitted furniture installation, managing materials and fixings. You will work on variety of our projects, collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and precise completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

General

o Carry out a range of building and structural works on residential and commercial projects

o Complete extensions, renovations and alterations

o Work from drawings and site plans where required, taking instruction from the project manager and site operative

o Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within project timelines

o Collaborate effectively with site managers, joiners and subcontractors

o Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment

o Communicate professionally with clients and team members on site

o Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is

o Experienced in structural building works and general construction

o Able to demonstrate examples of previous projects and workmanship

o Experienced in extensions and structural alterations

o Reliable, punctual and hardworking

o Passionate about delivering quality workmanship

o Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

o Equipped with strong communication and problem-solving skills

o In possession of a full clean driving licence

Negotiable salary based on experience.

(* 7am – 4pm – Monday and 7.30am – 4pm Tuesday – Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
