Behind the scenes, we design, manufacture, store and distribute products for some of the UK’s best-known brands — and now we’re looking for a highly organised Technical Administrator to support our technical team and help keep our processes running smoothly.

This is a varied role where accuracy, communication and organisation really matter. You’ll play an important part in maintaining technical records, supporting audits, coordinating documentation and helping ensure that information across the business is clear, compliant and easy to access.

From product specifications and supplier documentation to internal systems, audit preparation and day-to-day technical support, no two days will look exactly the same. What you’ll be doing

Maintain records and data to support the Food Safety and Quality System and BRCGS certification
Compliance and supplier approval – support the information for supplier approval database, ensuring all suppliers have up to date food certification and supporting documentation.
Specification management – support, review and update both raw materials and finished product specifications in line with customer requirements or Eurostar formats.
Involvement in the logging and investigation of customer complaints
Support technical customer enquiries for the business in conjunction with the Supplier Technical Manager & Site Technical Manager
Provide general administrative support to the Technical Team including COC/COA, results, etc

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a confident, organised and detail-focused administrator with strong communication skills and a flexible approach. You’ll be comfortable working in a busy office environment, managing deadlines and learning new systems.

Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and bespoke systems
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management
Confident verbal and written communication skills
2–3 years’ experience in an office-based food safety or quality related role
Experience working to tight deadlines in a demanding environment
Knowledge of BRCGS standards and food legislation; internal audit, HACCP or food safety training would be highly desirable
Must have right to work in the UK, no sponsorship offered with this role.
