As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Registered Manager to lead our service and help us build a reputation for excellence in home care.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and compliant operation of our domiciliary care service. You will provide strong leadership to the team, ensure exceptional standards of care, maintain full regulatory compliance, and support the strategic growth of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader who combines excellent operational management with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for people who use our services.

Key Responsibilities

Register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
Lead, manage, motivate, and support the care team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
Ensure the service consistently meets or exceeds CQC Fundamental Standards and quality expectations.
Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and quality assurance systems.
Recruit, supervise, mentor, and develop care staff through regular training, appraisals, and performance management.
Ensure safe staffing levels and effective rota management.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, reviews, and service delivery to ensure individual needs are met.
Build positive relationships with clients, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Monitor incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns, and medication management, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Drive continuous quality improvement through audits, feedback, and service reviews.
Support business development, client acquisition, and sustainable growth.
Manage budgets, resources, and operational performance effectively.
Promote a culture of dignity, respect, equality, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary care.
Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations, Health and Social Care legislation, and safeguarding requirements.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to achieve if appropriate).
Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Experience in recruitment, staff supervision, quality assurance, and compliance.
Good IT skills and experience using electronic care planning systems.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
