Architectural / Floor Plan Drafter – Freelance

Location: Finchley, North London
Pay: £120 per day
Schedule: A few days per month, depending on workload
Job Type: Freelance

We are looking for a practical and experienced Architectural / Floor Plan Drafter to assist with various property and studio projects.

The work will be on an ad-hoc basis, typically a few days per month depending on our project requirements. We are looking for someone based locally in Finchley or North London who can attend our sites when required.

Responsibilities

Visit properties and project sites to take accurate measurements
Produce clear and accurate floor plans
Prepare basic architectural and technical drawings
Draw existing and proposed layouts
Update and revise plans following changes or feedback
Work with our team and contractors when required
Provide drawings in PDF and editable formats

Requirements

Previous experience producing architectural or property floor plans
Good understanding of measurements, dimensions and scale
Experience with AutoCAD or similar drawing software
Able to survey and measure a property independently
Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
Based in or close to Finchley/North London
Flexible availability for occasional project work

This would suit a freelance architectural technician, CAD drafter, architecture student/graduate, or someone with similar practical experience looking for additional flexible work.

Pay: £120 per day
