Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and providing excellent communication with clients and team members. Prior experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is highly desirable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those seeking a dynamic role within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Deliver goods to various locations promptly and efficiently, ensuring accurate order fulfilment
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when necessary
Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery logs and vehicle checklists
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks during operations

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
Valid driver’s licence
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
Ability to organise workload efficiently and manage time effectively
Knowledge of routes and traffic patterns is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and service quality

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
