About us

Clapton Pond Dental is a mixed NHS private dental practice in Clapton, Hackney catering for all general and cosmetic dentistry.

We have recently fully refurbished and hope to become the premier dental practice in Clapton.

Providing general and cosmetic dentistry for all our patients including teeth whitening, Invisalign and white fillings.

Our front of house is the first point of contact for patients and as such one of the most important aspects of our business and as such we would love to have someone who is patient centred, friendly and organised allowing the smooth daily running of the practice.

The position would ideally suit someone from a dental background and is experience preferred but personality, communication and work ethic is the key above all else.

Full on job training and induction will be given to prospective employee.

Key Skills include:

Reliable, punctual and motivated
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
Calm, efficient manner and completing tasks swiftly and in an orderly fashion
Confident in dealing with people from all walks of life with respect and courtesy shown at all times
Friendly manner and willing to assist patients with enough knowledge to answer relevant enquiries
Booking appointments, answering phone calls, replying to emails, financial transactions, cashing up, finance applications, assisting growth of the practice through reviews, sending referrals, liaising with clinical staff, opening and closing the practice
Ability to manage a varied workload
Team player
Good IT skills especially with Word, Outlook and Excel
Knowledge of SOE / Dentally software would be preferred

Dental receptionist
Part time - Saturdays
Hourly rate £12.71 and review 6/12
Possible development opportunities onto Treatment Coordinator for the right candidate
