Full job description

Admin & Compliance Assistant Part-Time - 6hrs - 10hrs per week.

About the Role

We are a small company looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Admin & Compliance Assistant to join our company.

This is a varied part-time role, ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, working with documents and supporting the day-to-day running of a business. You will work closely with management and help ensure our staff, clients and compliance records are kept accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Accounts

Reconcile bank statements, invoices and payments using KashFlow.
Chase overdue invoices and follow up with clients.
Monitor and respond to routine emails and enquiries.
Keep staff and client records accurate and up to date.
Prepare basic documents, forms and onboarding packs.
Assist with the company’s social media and online presence.

✅ Compliance & Documentation

Maintain staff compliance records, including:
Right to work checks
ID checks
Contracts and onboarding documents
Training and certificates
Monitor expiry dates for insurance, accreditations, training, DBS checks and other compliance documents.
Keep digital records and folders organised and up to date.

Staff Support

Assist with onboarding new employees and collecting required documentation.
Track staff training and send reminders when required.

Client Compliance

Prepare and maintain client compliance packs, including insurance, RAMS and company policies.
Upload compliance documents to client portals.
Maintain organised client contract and compliance folders.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised and detail-focused.
Reliable and able to work independently.
Confident using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and digital systems.
Comfortable handling confidential information.
Good at communicating with staff, clients and suppliers.
Proactive and willing to learn.
Previous experience in administration, compliance, accounts or construction is desirable but not essential.
