Full job description

An exciting opportunity to work within a rapidly growing company who are already established as the nation wide market leading manufacturer of solid conservatory roofs, extension kits and more.

You will work in a challenging, but extremely rewarding environment where you will be taking on various tasks within your role and the company to ensure quotations and queries are fulfilled for our customers as well as learning a variety of new skill sets. Full training will be provided.

Duties

Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace tools, and sage accounting software.
Oversee office supplies inventory, place orders as needed, and ensure the workspace remains organized and efficient.
Support clerical functions including filing, photocopying, scanning documents, and managing electronic document systems.

Experience

Proven administrative experience in an office environment with a strong understanding of office procedures - Required
Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar), and data entry systems - Required
Experience using Sage or similar accounting software for financial record management - Preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting - Preferred.
Strong typing skills for efficient document creation and data entry - Required.
Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels of the organisation - Required.
Previous clerical experience that highlights attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information - Required

Working 40 hours per week Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm and Mon-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 2pm finish on alternate weeks.

28 days Holiday per annum pro rata including Bank Holidays.
