Administration Assistant – St. Benedict's Catholic Primary School
Salary: £11,442 - £11,622 (Actual)
Hours: 20.25 hrs per week, Mon, Tues, & Thurs – 8.30am - 1pm, Wednesday 8.30am - 4pm
Start date: 7 September 2026
Permanent, Term-time + 2 INSET days

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant who takes pride in their work and plays a vital role in supporting the daily life of the school. You will join a supportive, welcoming, and values-driven community.

We are looking for someone who:

Provides a calm, friendly, and professional front‑of‑house presence, welcoming visitors, answering calls, and supporting parents with enquiries.
Keeps accurate records and supports the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school through strong organisation, ICT skills, and attention to detail.
Manages pupil information and attendance efficiently, with the ability to prioritise and stay composed in a busy environment.
Supports a wide range of administrative tasks, including communications, bookings, and general office duties, with a proactive, “can‑do” approach.
Works closely with staff to meet pupils’ day‑to‑day needs, demonstrating teamwork, efficiency, and empathy.
