Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and committed to delivering high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience within a supportive team setting. The position is perfect for individuals looking to contribute their cooking expertise while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food handling and preparation
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and organising utensils and ingredients
Monitor stock levels and notify management of supplies needed for upcoming shifts
Serve meals efficiently and courteously to customers or staff as required
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or culinary setting is essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is essential.
Ability to manage time efficiently whilst lone working.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in meal presentation and quality
