Full job description

GM Coachwork is one of the UK’s largest vehicle conversion specialists, striving to design, manufacture and deliver accessible transport solutions. We are a privately funded large business employing more than 250 people. We are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, established business in South Devon.

With ambitious plans for the future we are seeking an experienced Marketing Executive to support our marketing team in reaching the company’s goals. You will be able to contribute immediately and become an integral part of a small team.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing Lead to manage the marketing activity for our wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) Motability business unit.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is comfortable managing multiple projects and working with internal teams, external agencies and influencers.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to, and working with, the Marketing Manager to deliver marketing campaigns that support business objectives.
Plan, write and coordinate brochure production and updates, working with external design agencies.
Develop, execute and analyse email marketing (e-shot) campaigns.
Create, schedule and manage engaging social media content across Facebook and Instagram.
Build and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators to support marketing campaigns.
Coordinate and manage product photography, including organising and attending photoshoots.
Write and maintain product handbooks and marketing literature, liaising with designers on final layouts.
Manage all print procurement, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Raise and manage purchase orders in line with company procedures.
Plan and deliver exhibitions and events, including retail shows and Motability Live, overseeing logistics, stand build and on-site setup.
Manage branded merchandise, including stock control and reordering.
Produce high-quality copy for both digital and print marketing materials.
Manage and update the company website, creating fresh content including news articles and product updates.
Support the planning and delivery of new product launches in collaboration with the wider marketing team

· Assist with brand development, awareness campaigns and strategic marketing planning.

· Other ad-hoc duties such as arranging vehicle signwriting, stock control and internal marketing

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have several years experience in a similar role and will be comfortable working in a busy environment engaging with numerous internal departments. Experience of creating and editing video content and graphic design skills would be advantageous.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
