Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, experience with various accounting software, and a proactive approach to managing financial records. This position is perfect for someone looking to contribute their bookkeeping expertise on a part-time basis while maintaining work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Freeagent and Xero
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Maintain organised filing systems for invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, ideally with familiarity in QuickBooks, Freeagent and Xero
Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes and bank reconciliations
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
A recognised qualification in bookkeeping or accounting is desirable but not essential

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible part-time work within a professional setting.

This is an office based position for one day per week, hours to suit.

Interviews will be in person at our office based in Ruddington, Nottingham.
