Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office and administrative experience to contribute to a welcoming environment dedicated to patient care. Potential for progression- Lead Dental Receptionist.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations efficiently
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Assist in managing patient correspondence and follow-up appointments
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials

Requirements

Previous office experience is essential, ideally within a healthcare or dental setting
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in administrative tasks such as data entry and appointment management
Ability to remain professional and courteous under pressure
Friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist patients
Basic knowledge of dental terminology is advantageous but not mandatory

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a rewarding position within a supportive dental team. The position is paid, offering valuable experience in healthcare administration while contributing positively to patient experiences.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
