Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team and drive financial excellence across our organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial management activities, ensure accurate financial accounting, and support strategic financial planning initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining robust financial services, managing accounts payable processes, and implementing cost control measures. Duties

Manage overall financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure organizational goals are met efficiently.
Oversee financial accounting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations while maintaining accurate records.
Supervise accounts payable functions, verifying invoices, processing payments promptly, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Develop and implement effective cost control strategies to optimize resource allocation and reduce unnecessary expenses.
Lead financial planning activities by analyzing data, preparing reports, and advising senior management on fiscal strategies.
Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and professional growth.
Ensure the integrity of financial services provided to internal departments and external stakeholders through transparent communication and reliable data management.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial management with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles for a charity.
Demonstrated expertise in financial services, including managing accounts payable and implementing cost control measures.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive organizational success.
Proficiency in financial planning tools, software, and systems used for budgeting and reporting.
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial activities.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in finance or accounting are preferred but not mandatory.
