Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic team dedicated to outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements as needed
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system
Serve dishes and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and responding to requests promptly
Upsell menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, adhering to health regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is preferred but not essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
Good organisational skills to ensure smooth service flow
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
A genuine passion for delivering excellent guest experiences and hospitality standards

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
