About the Role

Location: St Davids, Cardiff
Hours: 22 hours per week - fixed term role
Salary: £15.10 per hour

The Role!

Join our team of skilled hair stylists who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. In this role, you will provide expert hair treatments and professional advice to our customers, ensuring they enjoy the best possible in-store experience. We’re also extremely proud to work with some of the most trusted and professional hair brands in the industry, like Schwarzkopf and Framesi - helping us to deliver the very best professional service to our customers!

About You

Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing or an equivalent qualification.
Have a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
Are confident in engaging with customers, recommending treatments, and upselling products and services.
Are truly passionate about all things hair, keeping up with the latest trends and techniques.

1. Submit Your Application

Apply online by submitting your CV, ensuring it highlights how your experience aligns with our beauty roles.

2. Telephone Screening

Our Talent Team will review your application, and if you meet the role's requirements, they will contact you to arrange a 20-minute telephone screening. This conversation will help us learn more about you and your experience.

3. Interview

If you successfully pass the telephone screening, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview with the Store Manager or Beauty Studio Manager. The interview will be held in-store and will involve a detailed discussion about your experience and expertise in Beauty or Hair.

4. Trade Test

We want to see you do what you do best! At your face-to-face interview, you will also be asked to complete a Trade Test so we can assess your practical skills and client interaction. This could be a nail, brow or hair treatment – dependant on what role you have applied for. The Talent Team will talk you through this when scheduling so you know exactly what to expect, Please note, to ensure the Trade Test runs smoothly, we ask that you bring along a friend/family member who can act as your model for this assessment.
