Full job description

We are looking for a confident, organised and reliable Office Administrator / Sales Administrator to join our small and friendly team based in Rainham, Kent.

This is a varied role combining general office administration, customer service and some sales activity. You will support the day-to-day running of the office while speaking with customers, following up enquiries and helping to generate new business.

Key Responsibilities

Providing general office and administrative support
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
Speaking with customers and handling enquiries
Following up enquiries and potential customers
Supporting sales activity and identifying opportunities
Maintaining accurate customer records
Preparing documents and completing general office paperwork
Liaising with customers and colleagues
Supporting the team with day-to-day office tasks
Helping to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Organised, reliable and enthusiastic
Confident and professional when speaking with customers
Comfortable with some sales and follow-up calls
Confident using computers and Microsoft Office
A good communicator with strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to use their own initiative
Happy working as part of a small team

Experience Required

Minimum 1 year of office administration or customer service experience
Previous experience dealing with customers by telephone and email
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Experience handling general administration and maintaining accurate records
Some experience in sales, lead generation or following up enquiries would be an advantage
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is confident, reliable and keen to develop within the role.

Previous administration or sales experience would be an advantage, but we are also happy to consider someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

What We Offer

£26,364 basic salary per year
Additional incentives
Monday to Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm
No weekend working
