Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at our store in the busy town of Guildford. Working 8 hours per week, there is scope for these hours to increase either in this store or to cover other stores close by. You must therefore be flexible and available to work one day over the weekend which will include Friday, Saturday or Sunday or during normal hours between Monday and Thursday

The ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming shopping environment, assisting customers with their needs, and driving sales through effective upselling techniques.

Duties

Be the welcoming face of Vapouriz to customers and generate sales by making recommendations on products and upselling
Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met when possible
Work with management and colleagues to build a customer-focused, sales driven team
Be aware of the sales target and actively contribute to achieving store goals and targets
Share customer feedback and observations with the management team
Uphold store merchandising and high standards of cleanliness, ensure the store is kept neat and tidy and is easy for customers to navigate
Support the aims and ethos of Vapouriz, setting a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance
Promote and ensure the good reputation of Vapouriz
Adhere to all company policies and procedures within the scope of the role

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
A proactive attitude towards selling and promoting products while maintaining high standards of customer care
A vaper or have a keen interest in the vaping industry is desirable
Reliable, trustworthy with good time management skills
