Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Coffee Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality coffee beverages. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. The position offers an opportunity to develop barista skills within a vibrant café setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialised drinks
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
Handle cash register operations and process payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating area
Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light bites when required
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Uphold high standards of customer service by engaging with customers professionally and courteously

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety procedures is advantageous
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed

Pay: £12.21-£12.75 per hour
