Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

You will play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience, leading and motivating the team, maintaining high operational standards and helping to drive sales and profitability.

The ideal candidate will be organised, confident and commercially minded, with a genuine passion for hospitality and a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant
Lead, motivate and manage the front-of-house team
Recruit, train and develop staff
Create staff rotas and manage staffing levels effectively
Deliver consistently high standards of customer service
Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
Ensure cash handling and daily financial procedures are followed correctly
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness
Ensure the restaurant complies with all relevant legislation and company policies
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and consistent food quality
Monitor stock levels and support effective stock control
Manage opening and closing procedures
Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve the customer experience
Support restaurant promotions, events and marketing activities

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a restaurant management or senior hospitality role
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Good understanding of restaurant operations and commercial performance
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements
Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and busy periods
