Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of vehicles and machinery across our operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on expertise to contribute to the efficiency and safety of our facilities. The position involves working with various tools and technical systems, ensuring customers vehicles operates smoothly and reliably.

Duties

Diagnosing mechanical issues using hi-tec diagnostics machines
Performing service maintenance on vehicles after reconditioning their engines.
Repairing or replacing faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Conducting inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
Assisting with engine rebuilds and fitting of service parts
Ensuring all repairs meet safety standards and quality requirements
Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and maintenance needs
Handling heavy lifting tasks safely during repairs or installations

Requirements

Proven experience as a mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Knowledge of maintenance procedures
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
