An established and reputable care provider is seeking an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager to lead the launch and development of our new Southampton branch.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and has the drive to build and grow a successful domiciliary care service. You will have the support, resources, and infrastructure of an established organisation while enjoying the autonomy to develop and expand the branch locally.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, managing, and growing the Southampton branch while ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational excellence.

You will play a key role in developing the service, building relationships within the local community, recruiting and leading a high-performing care team, and ensuring positive outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Register with the CQC as the Registered Manager for the Southampton branch.
Lead the start-up, development, and growth of the domiciliary care service.
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and company policies.
Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop care and office staff.
Conduct assessments, care reviews, and quality assurance audits.
Build strong relationships with local authorities, NHS teams, healthcare professionals, and community organisations.
Drive business development and increase private and commissioned care packages.
Maintain excellent standards of person-centred care.
Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting.
Manage branch performance, budgets, and occupancy targets.
Promote a positive culture focused on quality, dignity, respect, and independence.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Branch Manager, Deputy Manager, or Care Manager within domiciliary care.
Thorough understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Proven experience managing teams and delivering high-quality care services.
Business development and relationship-building experience.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
