The Gist

Most job ads for fitters are full of corporate fluff. We’ll keep it simple: We’re Raynesway Blinds. We’re a local, straight-talking team with 30 years in the game. We don’t waste money on "brand ambassadors" or fancy TV ads—we put that money into high-quality products and making sure our fitters have everything they need to do a top-tier job.

We need someone who knows their way around a drill, respects a customer’s carpet, and takes pride in a perfectly level install.

What the Day Looks Like

Total Independence: You’ll have a consistent schedule of installs across Derby, Notts, and Burton. We don't micro-manage; we trust you to get the job done right.
Product Range: You'll be fitting everything from standard Rollers and Verticals to bespoke plantation shutters and high-end motorized awnings.
Support: We provide all the products and all the specialized fittings for every job. You just bring the expertise and the gear to get them on the wall.
Problem Solving: You know how it is—no window is ever actually square. You’ll use your experience to troubleshoot on-site and ensure the finish is flawless.
Clean & Professional: You’re the face of the business. You show up on time, you’re polite to the homeowners, and you leave the place spotless.

What We’re Looking For

Trade Experience: You’ve done this before. Whether it’s blinds, shutters, joinery, or window fitting—you’re comfortable with hand and power tools and you "get" measurements.
Own Equipment: You must have your own reliable van and a full set of tools suitable for professional window furnishing installation.
The "Eye": You’re the type of person who can’t stand a 2mm gap. Accuracy is everything to us.
Reliability: You have a full UK driving license and you’re someone we can count on to represent the name professionally.
Common Sense: You can read a technical diagram for a motorized awning or complex shutter frame without needing your hand held.
