Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient with office software, and demonstrate a friendly yet professional demeanour. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable administrative experience in a dynamic setting.

This role will require you to work a half day on Saturdays.

Duties

Welcome visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
Maintain organised records through data entry and filing systems
Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
Support team members with administrative tasks as required
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Experience

Previous receptionist experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar)
Experience with data entry, clerical work, or administrative support is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential
