Full job description

Overview
LPB Building & Roofing is a growing construction and roofing company looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, speaking with customers, and supporting multiple areas of the business. We are looking for someone who can develop into a cross-skilled member of the team and become an important part of our day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Managing company email inboxes and responding to customer enquiries
Providing excellent customer service to clients, suppliers and contractors
Scheduling appointments and assisting with diary management
Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
Supporting the operations and management teams with general administrative tasks
Preparing documents, letters and reports when required
Assisting with customer follow-ups and ongoing communication

Skills & Experience

Previous administration or customer service experience preferred
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Experience within construction or property services is advantageous but not essential
