About Us:

We are a modern physiotherapy clinic based in Parsons Green, London, with a friendly, hardworking and sociable team. We provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Patient Services Assistant to join our front-of-house team.

This is a busy and varied role where you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and clinicians, ensuring the smooth running of the clinic day-to-day.

A key responsibility is private medical insurance (PMI) billing and account management, so previous experience working in a private healthcare setting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and provide a professional front-of-house experience
Manage appointment bookings and clinic diaries
Handle patient enquiries by phone, email, and in person
Carry out general administrative duties (emails, post, deliveries)
Manage private medical insurance billing, invoicing, and insurer communication
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and insurance records
Support clinicians with patient flow and retention
Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
Deliver consistently high standards of customer service

Candidate Requirements:

Essential (please only apply if you meet these):

Previous experience working in a private healthcare setting (physiotherapy, private GP, dental, or similar)
Experience with private medical insurance billing and administration
Strong customer service background
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident multitasker in a busy environment
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Computer literate

Comfortable taking full responsibility for insurance-related administration

Important Note

Due to the nature of this role, we are only able to consider applicants with previous private healthcare experience and familiarity with insurance billing systems.

Interviews:

Telephone screening will take place during the week commencing 3rd August, followed by face-to-face interviews for shortlisted candidates.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50 per hour
